Washing

• Turn Inside Out: Always turn the garment inside out before washing. This protects the print from friction with other clothes and the washing machine drum.1

• Use Cold Water: Machine-wash with cold water (around 2$30-40^{\circ}\text{C}$ or 3$86-104^{\circ}\text{F}$).4 Hot water can weaken the adhesive and cause the print to crack or peel.5

• Gentle Cycle: Use a gentle or delicate cycle with a low to medium spin speed (e.g., 6$600-800 \text{ rpm}$) to minimize agitation.

• Detergent: Use a mild, liquid detergent.

  • Avoid: Bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemicals, as these can damage the print and its adhesion.

Drying and Ironing

• Drying: Air-dry (hang-dry) for the best and longest-lasting results.

  • If you must use a dryer, set it to the lowest heat setting and remove the garment as soon as it's dry.

• Ironing: If necessary, iron the garment inside out on a low, cool setting.  Never iron directly on the print. You can use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric for extra protection.

• Avoid Dry Cleaning: The chemicals used in dry cleaning can damage the DTF print.
